Salaam Dear Adhan2Go Subscribers,

The economic problems of late have been very difficult for all of us. The team at Sujood.com has come to the difficult decision that we have to discontinue our Adhan2Go SMS prayer time alerts starting immediately for an indefinite amount of time, until such time as we have sufficient donations to fund a server lease or a lower-cost solution to our SMS messaging needs. We have been unable to secure enough donations to continue funding a server lease that would provide reliable and timely prayer time alerts.

We hope and intend to continue to build Islamic Software that Muslims can be proud of. We've just released our first iPhone app, and we plan to continue to make smart tools for Muslims.

For nearly 2 years, the team at Sujood.com has been providing timely SMS text alerts for hundreds of mobile phone subscribers throughout North America. We've also developed a Mac OS X Dashboard widget for displaying prayer times, and we're working on an iPhone application with similar functionality.

We do all of this free of charge for our subscribers, but it's not free for us to host the sites and services that power our software. We've been growing rapidly, and would like to expand our line of services this year, but doing so will also increase our monthly expenses.

Sujood is now proud to offer Adhan2Go as a completely FREE service to our valued Muslim brothers and sisters! If you are currently a paying subscriber, your account will be rolled into our new free account, which includes all the old features you had, plus all the features from the premium account. If you currently have a free trial subscription, you will continue to receive alerts after the end of your original free trial period. Long story short, you don’t need to do anything to keep getting prayer reminders!

We’d like to extend special thanks to those who have supported us as we’ve grown this service; the inspiration you’ve given us have proven invaluable.
